Well, can 400 hundred municipalities be wrong [“Climate Emergency declaration presses need for adjustments,” July 5]?

After all of the “climate gate” skulduggery with the two per cent allowable warming pulled out of the thin air there’s a need to emphasize using the “scientific method” to test the popular ideology of climate alarmism.

As one wit pointed out in a major newspaper on July 6, there is a strong correlation between life span and atmospheric carbon.

No one, and I repeat no one, has demonstrated any linkage between human emissions of CO2 and the climate. There’s a Nobel waiting for this one.

The only saving grace in the article was labelling the diagram a scenario rather than a fact.
