Powell River RCMP reported the following for September 24 to 30, 2020.

Total calls for service: 84
Thefts: 2
Assaults: 3
Impaired driving: 0
Mischief: 3
Break and enter: 2

September 25; Cranberry Street, 6800 block
At approximately 11:21 pm, police responded to a mischief complaint. A work trailer parked at that location was damaged and tools were removed from the work site.

September 29; Westview Avenue, 4000 block
At approximately 12:15 pm, police responded to a report of a theft in progress at a residence. A homeowner reported that a male was walking around the property stealing his belongings. The homeowner followed the male and reported his location to police. RCMP attended and located the suspect who had stolen a few low-value items. The suspect returned the items to the homeowner, and the homeowner requested he not be charged criminally. Instead, the suspect was issued a violation ticket for trespassing and told to not return to the property.
