It is recommended that the qathet Regional District board endorse a 3.21 per cent increase for the 2020 Myrtle Pond water user fee schedule.
At the committee of the whole meeting on Thursday, November 14, directors voted to compile the information into a user fee amendment bylaw to be presented at the November board meeting.
User fees for the Myrtle Pond water service are invoiced quarterly based on monthly metered consumption.
According to a staff report, a 3.21 per cent increase would mean an annual increase, based on a minimum monthly fee of approximately $21 per residential equivalent user.
User fees for the Myrtle Pond water service were last changed on March 1, 2018.
