Missing man found

Fort St. John RCMP and family confirm Lee Johnson was located Friday night and is no longer missing.

The Fort St. John RCMP is asking for the public's help to find a man who went missing earlier this week.

Lee Johnson was last seen Tuesday, Aug. 4, after he was dropped off at a friend's residence, RCMP said. Police were notified of his disappearance on Aug. 5, and family says his phone was last pinged north of Pink Mountain on Wednesday, but say there's been no activity since.

"He's not a woodsman," said Clint Marks. “It’s totally out of character for him."

Johnson, 39, is described as five-foot-eight and weighing 166 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.

He drives a black GMC Terrain, licence plate number DC5 49H. Family says he was last seen wearing grey shorts, a navy blue shirt, a black zip-up hoodie, and a green Puma hat.

Anyone with information is asked to call RCMP at at 250-787-8140 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
