Peace River Regional District looking for agriculture advisors

The Peace River Regional District (PRRD) is looking for three area residents to serve on the Agricultural Advisory Committee.

The committee provides advice to the regional district regarding the agricultural sector.

"As a major agricultural region, the (PRRD) believes that input from the sector is important to assist with major decisions affecting agriculture," the regional district said in a
release.

Members are reimbursed for all travel expenses to attend meetings, which are typically four to five hours long and take place between four to six times a year. Members are appointed for a two-year term.

The successful candidate will be drawn from submissions received and will balance "a number of factors," the PRRD says.
