More dancers auditioned this year than ever before and there is so much talent on the Coast. Natalie Martin will reprise her role as Clara. She performed the role beautifully, and this year has enjoyed getting to know the character of Clara even more and enjoys bringing out new nuances. The choreography has also changed to give her more of a challenge. There is a cast of 85 talented local and guest dancers, actors, and acrobats – even a tap-dancing doll!

To inspire the dancers and thrill the audiences, there is a grand roster of guest artists who love coming to the Coast to perform, including Graham McMonagle returning as Drosselemeyr and Royal Winnipeg ballet soloists Chenxin Liu and Yui Shi. These young dancers are the rising stars of ballet, winning competitions and thrilling audiences with their performances.

With the combined talent of local performers and visiting artists, enhanced costumes and a few surprises, CATS looks forward to presenting another magnificent season of The Nutcracker Ballet. For more information, see www.CoastingAlongTheatre.org
