Larkin Miller as Puck and Salma Atoui as Titania (left) and Annabelle Stremlaw as Moth in scenes from A Midsummer Night’s Dream, performed last weekend at Gibsons Heritage Farm on Henry Road. Directed by Varya Rubin, the 20-minute segment from the Bard’s classic featured 12 child performers. “The setting was perfect – no theatre could be better,” Rubin said. “We kept the audiences small, with no more than 20 people per show, and folks were able to spread out, with plenty of outdoor space between each bubble cluster.” More performances will be held on Friday, July 31 and Saturday, Aug. 1 at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. both days. Tickets are sliding scale of $5 to $10 and due to limited capacity, must be reserved in advance. Contact Varya Rubin at [email protected] for tickets or more information.
