Sunshine Coast Community Services (SCCS) is here for you during this difficult time. All SCCS programs have been modified to provide support to the community throughout this crisis. 

• If you are self-isolating and need someone to talk to, if you or your family are experiencing financial stress due to being laid off, are facing eviction or are low on medication or food, call SCCS and they will do their best to assist you. Learn more at sccss.ca or call 604-885-5881 Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

• The COVID-19 Emergency Food and Essentials Hotline has been set up for families and individuals who cannot afford food or essential items and need to access the food bank. Please call 604-865-0832 so SCCS can support you in accessing food and essential items. 

• Emergency Child Care for Essential Service Workers. Are you an essential service worker in need of temporary emergency child care? SCCS has staff who can provide listings for available temporary care for children from birth to 12. Please call 604-885-5657 for information.
