On behalf of Unifor Local 1119 membership, president Don Rheaume (left) presented a $1,000 cheque to Darrell Pilgrim, the director of the Salvation Army (centre), and Mathew Hardman, the family services coordinator for the food bank feeding programs and emergency services. The Salvation Army is grateful for all the community’s help raising funds for those in need on the Sunshine Coast. The Kettle Campaign has raised 40 per cent of their goal of $60,000. The campaign ends Monday, Dec. 24. Kettle hosts are needed for two-hour shifts at all of the locations in Sechelt and most in Gibsons.
