The staff of the Sunshine Coast Healthcare Auxiliary Thrift Store on Cowrie Street in Sechelt are excited to announce its reopening on Tuesday, July 14.

New opening hours are Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Donations will be accepted only on Sundays and Wednesdays, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Donations of clean, freshly-laundered, saleable clothing and household items are welcome, but due to limited storage space, donations will be restricted. No seasonal decorations or items will be accepted for occasions such as Christmas, Easter and Halloween.

Following health regulation protocols, social distancing measures will be in place. There will be a limit of 12 customers in the store at a time, 20 minutes maximum for shopping, one member per family, and customers are encouraged to wear masks.
