Pender Harbour & Egmont: Thanks to Bargain Barn volunteers

The Bargain Barn volunteers have gone over and above this summer with record sales all because of their wonderful hard work processing all donations and fantastic, warm welcoming and always helpful customer service.

The Bargain Barn volunteers have gone over and above this summer with record sales all because of their wonderful hard work processing all donations and fantastic, warm welcoming and always helpful customer service. Thank you to these fine members of our community!

Please remember when donating items, they must be new or gently used and saleable. The Barn is not a dumping location. Their garbage fees have escalated at an alarming rate. The effort sorting through black garbage bags of just that – garbage – is taxing and demoralizing for the volunteers. All profits go to our PH Health Centre and bursaries. I have suggested donations have a name and phone number clearly visible at drop off time.

The Friday Madeira Markets will continue through September with a variety of vendors and their treasures. Come shop, socialize and enjoy delicious food and milkshakes from Triple B’s.
