Enjoy hot soup lunch and homemade treats, photos with Santa by donation, 50/50, gift basket and more. All proceeds support the Serendipity Child Development and Madeira Park Elementary PAC. 

Harbour Gallery’s Christmas Sale continues this weekend, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 12954 Gonzales Rd., across from the School of Music. Great discounts throughout the gallery on a wide selection of paintings, prints, cards, stained glass and felt sculptures. Bring your gift list and treat yourself, too! 

Looking for a nice way to kick off your Christmas season? The Pender Harbour Choir presents ‘Tis the Season!, a program of festive music, new and old. There are three concerts this year: Nov. 29, 7 p.m. at St. Hilda’s in Sechelt, and Nov. 30, 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the School of Music in Pender Harbour. Tickets are $20 from EarthFair, Strait Music, choir members and at the door. Children 12 and under are admitted free. 

There’s a new jam in town! The fabulous performer Eddy Edrik will be hosting a weekly Friday jam at the Pender Harbour Legion. The call is out to local musicians to come join the first acoustic event starting Dec. 6. This week, Nov. 29, he will do a one man show starting at 7 p.m. Always great music and good times when Eddy is in the house! 

The Sunday Jam at The Clubhouse is a fantastic event every Sunday 2 to 6 p.m. Come enjoy the music of great Coast performers, enjoy delicious food in a wonderful atmosphere. This weekend the outstanding Steve Hinton Band. 

The Pender Harbour Branch of the Sunshine Healthcare Auxiliary is asking for donations In Lieu of Cards. Send holiday greetings to friends and family, donors names mentioned as well, to be published in Coast Reporter. All donations go towards purchasing much needed equipment for our local hospital. The fantastic Bargain Barn team had another resounding success and provided a great Christmas shopping opportunity, this time with their Toy Sale. Friday, the first day of two, sales were $950! All proceeds go to the PH Health Centre. Thank you to Bargain Barn volunteers for all do for our community. Your halos are shining bright! 

The Pender Harbour Garden Club is pleased to present Kathleen Suddes from the award-winning Roberts Creek Honey, on Monday, Dec. 9, 1 p.m. at the School of Music. Kathleen has lived on the Coast since 1988, completed the Ministry of Agriculture’s Bees Master program, and purchased the company in 2015 (www.robertscreek
honey.com). Tea, coffee and goodies served. 

The Almost Christmas Faire, an encore event hosted by the Pender Harbour Community Club, will give everyone a last chance to shop locally for gifts, baking and Christmas decorations. Join the festivities Saturday, Dec. 14, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hall. Liz will be there with her Creative Centre, so much fun and you always take home something special!
