Start your Labour Day weekend off with a fine dinner tonight, Friday, Sept. 4, at the Clubhouse. The talented Brit Eddy Edrik will be there to entertain you from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday on the patio the long-awaited return of the Steve Hinton Band will happen 2 to 5 p.m. Come enjoy this fantastic musical treat, the delicious food, cool drinks and the award-winning hospitality. Reservations recommended. 

Harbour Gallery has had a wonderful summer season. The fine works of art by our talented local artists have been appreciated and purchased by both visitors and residents. The gallery has refreshed the offerings with new creations and will remain open though the month of September for all to enjoy. Hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Saturday, Sunday. 

The Saturday Madeira Markets will carry on through September from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and weather permitting, into October. Come shop, come visit. Protocols in place. New vendors welcome. Tables just $10 with proceeds going to the Pender Harbour Community Club. Contact me at dilysanne@hotmail.com. While you are there, have a yummy lunch at Tony’s Triple Bs, famous for burgers, shakes and outstanding halibut & chips. Well worth the wait. 

Harbourside Friendships welcomes HUGS Ukulele group to their get-together Thursday, Sept. 10 starting at 10:30 in the courtyard.

The Bargain Barn pop-up will remain at the Legion for September with fresh exciting offerings stocked up each day they are open; Wednesdays and Saturdays noon to 3 p.m. Donations are accepted at the home Bargain Barn location Wednesdays only noon to 3 p.m. Two-bag limit and you must sort your donations into accepted categories. The rest is your responsibility. No dumping.
