Wonderful summer days in Pender Harbour offer what memories are made of. Wherever you are, enjoy, appreciate and respect. The recent Cecil Hill Fire was costly, estimated at a million dollars to fight. Heroic firefighters saved our community, and the cause is under investigation. Our resident orcas are diminishing. There is overfishing, including prawns, crabs and shellfish. Know the laws and the limits when venturing out. If you observe something of concern, make sure you have the RAPP (Report All Poachers and Polluters) number in your phone: 1-877-952-7277. Note details and report.
