Simon Paradis and the Farm Team are performing at Coopers Green Hall this Saturday, Nov. 23 to promote his new CD. Doors open at 7 p.m.; music at 7:30 p.m. There may be some tickets still available ($20 each) at HMB General Store, Welcome Woods Market or Pastimes in Sechelt. The band is Jay Johnson on drums, Boyd Norman on bass and vocals, Paul Rigby on pedal steel, guitars, and mandolin, and Walter Martella on keyboards, trumpet, and accordion. They are an amazing group of local musicians and should not be missed.
The Halfmoon Bay Branch of the Sunshine Coast Healthcare Auxiliary is holding its semi-annual Bake and Plant Sale at Trail Bay Centre on Saturday, Nov. 23 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Be there early for best selection.
