Many, many thanks to all the community volunteers who helped put on another fantastic event.

Thanks also to the folks from HMB Elementary School who provided all the kids games.

The inspection of the park on Monday morning was inspiring. Not only was the Coopers Green Park pristine, but Parks and Coopers Hall cleaning crew had emptied garbage bins and recycling and the park was returned to its usual shining diamond in our community. Well done, clean-up crew.

HMB Café, HMB General Store and Sechelt Signs put together a great kids fishing tournament. Funds raised will go to the PAC at HMB Elementary.

The Saturday night dinner and dance was again a roaring success, where Playback gave another resounding performance, and they turned out again on the Sunday to perform at the Fair’s Centre Stage with several other outstanding local bands and groups. The dinner saw over 100 meals served and full compliments to the chefs, Ian and Carlo.

The Fair speaks volumes for the people of our caring community.

See photos from the Fair in Coast Scene on page 27. Photos have also started to show up on Facebook Halfmoon Bay Everything and other connected sites.

It is early … but don’t forget Breakfast with Santa sponsored by HMB Elementary School and HMB Community Association.
