Come jam with Eddie

This Friday, Jan. 10 come enjoy and participate at Eddie’s Jam at The Legion. Make a night of it and have a fish and chips dinner starting at 5 p.m. The music starts at 7 p.m. The Sunday Jam at The Clubhouse this week, Jan. 12, 2 to 6 p.m.

The Sunday Jam at The Clubhouse this week, Jan. 12, 2 to 6 p.m. headlines the fantastic Steve Hinton Band. Come early as this very popular weekly event is packing the place. Outstanding local musicians are showing up to make this a very exciting time. Enjoy delicious food and drinks served up with warm hospitality by The Clubhouse family. Admission is by donation. Gail Girard, after 33 years with Canada Post at John Henry’s in Garden Bay, is retiring. The Pender Harbour Living Heritage Society (PHLHS) will host a community tea in her honour at Sarah Wray Hall on Sunday, Jan. 12 from 2 to 4 p.m. The PHLHS invites the entire Garden Bay community (postal codes V0N1S0 and V0N1S1) to thank Gail for all she has meant to us for so many years. 

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Pender Harbour Music Society regrets to inform all that the January Coffee House is cancelled. They plan to rebook Kenneth Norman Johnson, Katrina and Stella, and Michelle Morand in the near future. 

Harbourside Friendship, Thursday, Jan. 16 welcomes the Harbour’s wonderful duo Joan and Ted. Come enjoy their performance after a nice coffee time. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. at The Hall. Lunch will be served at noon. Drop in $10.
