LETTER: A thank you from the family of Mikayla Martin

Thank you so much for the outpouring of love and support for our family as we go through the loss of a wonderful daughter and sister.

Thank you so much for the outpouring of love and support for our family as we go through the loss of a wonderful daughter and sister.

We are honoured and humbled that so many people joined us for Mikayla’s Celebration of Life, whether it was in person, through the live stream, or by keeping us in your thoughts and hearts.

We hope you found it as inspiring, uplifting and healing as we did. We could not have felt more supported and loved, thanks to everyone near and far.

Many people, businesses and organizations stepped forward to help make this event worthy of Mikayla’s memory.

A very special thank you goes to Sean Daly and Nesters as well as Shannon McCarthy and the Squamish Waldorf School.

Generous donations were deeply appreciated from Save On Foods, Quantum Technology, Samurai Sushi, Sushi Sen, Century Signs, London Drugs and Windflower. Thank you also to West Coast Railway Heritage Park, Slope Side Supply, Actuate, and Zephyr.

A heartfelt thank you to those who went above and beyond to support us including Heather Adamson, Wendy Winter, Calvin Winter, Kirsten Andrews, Mark Bunyan, Julie Martin, Jacki Willcox, Stephanie Gauvin, Mathias Horne, and all the kind friends who brought delicious meals to our home.

We are eternally grateful to Ollie Lowthorpe and Squamish Search and Rescue who did all that was possible to help Mikayla and our family.

In gratitude,

Christine, James and Shondra Martin
