It was an action-packed Thanksgiving long weekend on the ice at Brennan Park arena where 17 games were played. Competitors at the Atom C Squamish Minor Hockey 'Game On Squamish Adventure Series Tournament' hailed from Chilliwack, Ridge Meadows, Vancouver, North Vancouver and Squamish. North Vancouver C1 took first place at the tourney, while Ridge Meadows C4 came in second place and Squamish C1 took third. "Lots of smiles and lots of fun was had and memories made for years to come," tourney organizer Lisa Turpin told The Chief. "A very good weekend to be thankful for our sheet of ice and it was put to good use. If you were able to come out and see the smiles, they warmed your heart." Photos by Lisa Turpin
