Local resident Francine Erickson has created an easy way for people to find homes that have put up Christmas light displays in Squamish.
“So many people don’t know where the lights are in this town,” said Erickson.
Erickson created the Facebook group Squamish 2020 Drive By Christmas Light Shows three weeks ago so that people could share photos of Christmas lights and the locations of where Christmas light displays have gone up in town.
The page uses a Mountain FM map made by the station's Marshall Whitsed in November.
It also features a map by her daughter.
Erickson said she made the group because “there’s a lot of people that are sitting at home that haven’t left their house much and going out to see the lights is probably very nice for them.”
She created the Facebook group on Dec. 9 and says that she is planning to do it again next year.
