District of Squamish staff is developing an arts, culture, and heritage strategy it hopes will strengthen the cultural richness of the community.
"This multi-phased strategy will aim to identify opportunities to improve and expand access to experiences throughout our community," a release from the District of Squamish states.
To get feedback from the public this summer, the municipality has launched a survey to find out what locals currently enjoy and what arts, culture and heritage experiences they would like to see more of in Squamish.
District staff members are also out seeking public input at events throughout Squamish over the summer.
Later, a fulsome consultation with groups involved with arts and culture will take place, the District says.
