RCMP remain hopeful the mystery surrounding the disappearance of a Fraser Lake man three years ago can be solved.

Like they did after he first went missing, Mounties issued a call Wednesday for any information that could lead to finding out what happened to Jerry Keith Krietz.

He had been reported missing on July 9, 2017 after he failed to return from a shopping trip to Prince George. He was last seen in on July 7, 2017 when he was leaving the Downtown Motel at 650 Dominion Street in Prince George.

On Aug. 3, 2017, his car was found abandoned west of Prince George with no sign of Kreitz despite an extensive ground and air search.

Kreitz was 42 years old at the time and was described as Caucasian, 5'10" tall and weighing 185 lbs with brown eyes and dark brown hair that was usually shaved.

His car was described as a white 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier with distinctive Pontiac rims, a sunroof, some body rust, a Monster / Fox logo in the back window and B.C. license plate EK227.

Anyone who may have information on where Krietz may be is asked to call the Fraser Lake RCMP at 250-699-7777 or Prince George RCMP at 250-562-3300.

Tips can be also provided anonymously at Crime Stoppers by phone, 1-800-222-8477, online at www.pgcrimestoppers.bc.ca.
