Kidovate is open now for students, parents and teachers to register.

Youth from12 to 18 can participate.

They can work on their own, in teams or in a classroom if it is offered in a school. It’s a self-directed program. Everyone receives online access to a workbook to lead them through the process of developing a business.

Kidovate culminates with markets on May 25 at local shopping centres, where participants can sell their products or services to the public.

Its goal is to encourage entrepreneurial spirit, business acumen, and a sense of corporate social responsibility.

There is no cost to join but it will be up to participants to decide how much to spend on their venture.

To register or for more information at kidovate.ca.
