The B.C. Cancer Foundation welcomes Alyssa Grace as senior director of development to lead fundraising activity on Vancouver Island. She most recently led a $136million fundraising campaign for the faculty of medicine and dentistry at the University of Alberta.
Grace has an extensive background in fund development on the Island. For more than a decade she was campaign director for Nanaimo's Vancouver Island University, and also raised funds for the faculties of science and engineering at the University of Victoria. Provincewide, the B.C. Cancer Foundation raised a record $50.4 million in support of research and enhancements to care at the B.C.
Cancer Agency in 2012.
