If you scream in the past, does anybody hear you? Find out at Night Shift: Nightmare at the Museum, a Halloween night event at the Royal B.C. Museum, Oct. 31.
The museum, in partnership with Atomique Productions, is hosting an interactive journey of all things that go bump in the night — from the creepy-crawly displays that make the hair on your arm stand up to the downright terrifying — at the after-hours event.
History comes to life with spooky ghost tours, a walk through haunted forests and diabolical decorations showing a darker side to the museum few have dared witness.
Costumes are encouraged, but no face paint, as organizers need to check identification because alcohol will be served.
People will be treated to plenty of dancing, delicious drinks, tasty bites and music by high-energy Balkan brass band Bucan Bucan and disc jockeys. This is a night you won’t soon forget … even if you want to.
Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 at the door. The event is for patrons 19 and older. It runs from 8:30 p.m. to midnight Oct. 31 at the museum, 675 Belleville St.
Purchasers of the first 100 tickets receive a $10 Bay Centre gift voucher.
