Are you associated with or running as part of a slate? If so, which one?

VIVA Victoria

Do you live in the municipality where you are running, and if so, for how long? If not, what is your connection to that community?

Grew up in Victoria, live in Victoria, do business in Victoria.

What is your occupation, and for how long?

Exercise rehabilitation, chiropractic. 20 years

Tell us about your previous elected and/or community experience. (80-100 words)

none. Life long entrepreneur

Why are you running? What’s your motivation? (80-100 words)

Frankly, I do not recognize the city I grew up in and, although I’m established, I am not certain I want my kids to have to live in this city unless it changes. I am not making a career change, just looking to see if I can make a change. Which needs to happen fast. I want in — and then out — of politics so I can enjoy life, family and business in a safe, accessible Victoria.

What are your top three issues? (80-100 words)

1. Homeless crisis

2. Housing

3. Opening Roads

What’s your vision for your community in 25 years? (100-125 words)

Run by people with business experience. Common sense, free market ideas that respect the fact that not all of Victoria commutes by bike, not all Victoria dislikes the cruise ship and tourism industries, not all Victorians want to grow the homeless population never endingly. We want to be fair to developers so they can add significant amount of stock to our housing supply. We want our elderly and young families to feel included in our city. We want our police to honoured and respected as they do the difficult work in our stead.

What’s one “big idea” you have for your community? (100-125 words)

Balance. A Victoria for everyone, not just the Far Left ideologues.
