The main stage at Ladner May Days will be busy throughout Saturday and Sunday.
On Saturday, the entertainment kicks off at 1 p.m. with a performance by the Delta Concert Band.
The Delta Concert Band is a group of high-caliber adult amateur musicians from throughout the Lower Mainland that has been a community fixture in Delta for more than 50 years.
Roadside Attraction – a Tragically Hip Tribute takes the stage from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Roadside Attraction was formed in 2017 with the goal of bringing the energy and music of The Hip to pubs and clubs.
Members of Roadside Attraction are all seasoned musicians that have played in the live music circuit for years. With diverse musical histories ranging from AC\DC tribute acts to New Country and Top 40, they’ve done it all and now want to share their love of The Hip.
On Sunday, following the parade, the May Pole Dance and crowning of the 2019 Royal Court takes place from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
Then starting at 3:30 p.m., enjoy a performance from None of the Above, a cover band that came together in early 2015.They have put together a line-up of music that includes classic rock, blues and pop.
