The TOOBs recently made a donation of $2,500 to the Delta Community Living Society to support its life skills and youth employment programs.

TOOBs has been quietly helping many South Delta organizations and individuals in need since 1984. The service club's fundraising is done by providing food services at community events.

TOOBs has supported the Delta Community Living Society as the catering partner for the organization’s annual summer picnic attended by those with developmental disabilities, their friends and family members, and staff.

With this year’s donation, the group has donated over $11,000 to the Delta Community Living Society since 2006.

“We are so grateful for TOOBs support of DCLS over the years,” said Delta Community Living Society executive director Anita Sihota. “The group has been a key partner to DCLS for our family picnic, and we appreciate the financial donations that the group has made to us.

“Many of the life-enhancing programs that we offer are not possible without the generous support of organizations like the TOOBs as well as individuals and businesses in our community.”

Delta Community Living Society is a non-profit, community-based organization that provides support to people with diverse abilities and their families. To find out more, or to make a donation, visit www.dcls.ca or call 604-946-9508.
