And the winners are …
The Royal City Literary Arts Society has announced its top three prize winners for this year’s Fred Cogswell Award for Excellence in Poetry.
The society has just announced the winners for this year’s sixth annual award.
In first place is Trauma Head, by Elee Kraljii Gardiner, published by Anvil Press.
In second was 9x11 and other poems like Bird, Nine, x, and Eleven, by Michael Turner, a New Star Books release.
In third place was Body Work, by Emilia Nielsen, released by Signature Editions.
An award ceremony will be held on Saturday, Nov. 30 at 2 p.m. at the New Westminster Public Library.
