Do you have an idea how the city should use its theatres?

The City of New Westminster is holding a community workshop to get input into its theatre strategy “to help identify community values and expectations for city theatre venues looking at the short/medium term and into the future,” as a write-up about the workshop says.

It’s on Saturday, May 4 from 10 a.m. to noon in the Spruce Room at Century House, 620 Eighth St.

The city is encouraging people to RSVP in advance to help them anticipate how many participants there will be – you can respond at newwesttheatrestrategy.eventbrite.ie.
