Ensure your pork chops are moist, juicy

I'm really hoping you can tell me how on earth not to annihilate pork chops and how to end up with something that doesn't resemble shoe leather. I have gone through the whole gamut: I tried flash-frying the thin loin ones, broiling, frying and even cooking in copious sauce in a very slow oven (had better success with the latter). But basically no matter how I try cooking them, they always end up as tough as old boots or, at best, chewy. I would really appreciate advice on how to end up with moist, tender, juicy pork, as I am clearly failing!
