A wind storm with gusts of more than 70 km/h blew through Greater Victoria on Saturday night.
B.C. Hydro reported some power outages likely linked to the storm. About 600 customers were without power in three areas of North Saanich because of downed power lines.
Some ferry sailings around 9 p.m. were delayed because of the wind.
Environment Canada says the wind storm, which started around 9 p.m., will die down overnight. The forecast for Sunday says it'll remain windy, with periods of rain interspersed with sun and clouds.
