Victoria Royals acquire forward Tyler Lees from Blades

The Victoria Royals acquired 2000-born forward Tyler Lees from the Saskatoon Blades on Thursday in exchange for a conditional seventh-round draft pick in the 2019 Western Hockey League bantam draft.

The Victoria Royals acquired 2000-born forward Tyler Lees from the Saskatoon Blades on Thursday in exchange for a conditional seventh-round draft pick in the 2019 Western Hockey League bantam draft.

The native of Regina has played 39 games in parts of two seasons in Saskatoon. Lees has three WHL goals and four points and 22 minutes in penalties. Lees was drafted by the Blades in the fifth round, 94th overall, in the 2015 bantam draft.

The five-foot-11, 167-pounder had two goals and five points in seven games in the 2017 Telus Cup Canadian Midget Championships.
