Thank you to residents, businesses, the 1,600 volunteers, police, the City of Victoria and the municipality of Oak Bay for welcoming all our guests this past weekend.
The GoodLife Fitness Victoria Marathon continued to show why the event has become a key destination event in showcasing our city and surrounding region to more than 10,000 visitors from more than 26 countries. The ability for events and festivals to flourish on our Island is paramount in showing pride for our surroundings and creating a healthy economy.
Volunteerism allows this to happen, and the hard work from our executive and staff make it a professional event where we can treat our visitors royally.
Looking ahead to the next GoodLife Fitness Victoria Marathon, we look forward to the planning and showing pride in our region as hosts of this wonderful, healthy event.
