China's Li Na beats Czech player Klara Zakopalova in 3 sets to capture 1st Shenzhen Open title

SHENZHEN, China - Top-seeded Li Na of China secured a hard-fought 6-3, 1-6, 7-5 victory over Klara Zakopalova of the Czech Republic on Saturday to capture the inaugural Shenzhen Open.

The 2011 French Open champion won her seventh WTA title despite serving 10 double-faults compared to none from her fifth-seeded opponent.

Li hit back from dropping serve in the opening game of the deciding set by winning five of the next six games to build a decisive 5-2 lead.
