LISBON, Portugal - Jackson Martinez scored to give FC Porto a 1-0 win against visiting Nacional on Saturday, as the defending Portuguese champions stayed perfect through seven home games this season.
Martinez scored what proved to be the winner in the 24th minute when he headed in Joao Moutinho's cross.
It was Martinez's 11th goal of the season through 13 rounds. The Colombia striker trails only Benfica's Oscar Cardozo and his 12 goals as the league's top scorer.
Porto is in second place, level on points with Benfica before the leader visits Estoril on Sunday.
Also, Sporting Lisbon continued to struggle as it lost 1-0 at home to Pacos Ferreira.
