St. Michaels University School narrowly missed seventh place at the B.C. double-A high school boys soccer championship Wednesday in Burnaby.
SMUS fell 1-0 to Smithers in the seventh-place game.
In other results, Gulf Islands beat LV Rogers 4-1 in the ninth-place game, while Carihi lost 4-0 to Sands in the 13th-place game. Okanagan Mission beat Archbishop Carney 2-1 in a shootout in the gold-medal game.
