Sting score four times in third period to beat the Otters

SARNIA, Ont. - The Sarnia Sting scored four straight goals in the third period as they came from behind to beat the visiting Erie Otters 7-6 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Reid Boucher scored twice in the third period for the Sting (26-15-3) while Alex Basso and Daniel Nikandrov also scored in the final 20 minutes to complete the comeback.

Bryan Moore had two goals and two assists and Anthony DeAngelo also put up four points with a goal and three assists to round out Sarnia's offence.

J.P. Labardo and Connor Crisp each scored twice for the Otters (14-23-7), who led 5-3 at the 9:51 mark of the final period, as Dane Fox and Jimmy McDowell had a goal apiece.

Rookie Connor McDavid chipped in with three assists for Erie, which has dropped three games in a row.

JP Anderson made 30 saves for the win as Oscar Dansk turned aside 18 shots in a losing cause.

Sarnia went 2 for 5 on the power play while Erie scored three times on five chances with the man advantage.
