Matt Rupert scores winner as the Knights extend win streak to 20 games

GUELPH, Ont. - Matt Rupert scored the winner in the shootut as the London Knights edged the host Guelph Storm 4-3 on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Chris Tierney and Bo Horvat each had a goal and an assist for the Knights (28-5-2), who extended their franchise-best win streak to 20 games, and Kyle Platzer added a single goal.

Matt Finn, Ryan Horvat and Hunter Garlent scored for the Storm (20-10-4), who lost to London for the second time in as many days.

Kevin Bailie stopped 28 shots for the win as Garret Sparks turned aside 23 shots in a losing cause.

Both clubs went 2 for 8 on the power play.
