SUDBURY, Ont. - Boone Jenner scored the shootout winner as the Oshawa Generals downed the host Sudbury Wolves 3-2 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Jenner fooled goaltender Franky Palazzese with backhand-to-forehand deke and fired the puck over his blocker to pick up the two points for Oshawa.

Justice Dundas and Lucas Lessio scored in regulation for the Generals (27-17-4) while Daniel Altshuller made 20 saves for the win.

Nicholas Baptiste and Dominik Kahun scored for the Wolves (21-17-10) and Palazzese stopped 40-of-42 shots in a losing cause.

Baptiste opened the scoring 15:03 into the first period when he sent a rebound past a sprawling Altshuller.

Kahun made it 2-0 after he backhanded the puck into the top-right corner at 2:31 of the second period.

Lessio cut the deficit in half on the power play at 12:49 before Dundas backhanded the puck over Palazzese's blocker on a breakaway to tie it up at 16:26.

Oshawa went 1 for 5 on the power play while Sudbury went 0 for 4 on the man-advantage.
