Galchenyuk with five points as the Sting beat the Frontenacs

SARNIA, Ont. - Alex Galchenyuk scored three times and setup two more as the Sarnia Sting downed the visiting Kingston Frontenacs 7-4 on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League play.

Reid Boucher had two goals and an assist for the Sting (20-11-3), who have won eight of their last nine games, while Charles Sarault had three assists.

Connor Murphy and Nikolay Goldobin each scored once to round out Sarnia's offence.

Samuel Schutt, Jean Dupuy, Sam Bennett and Spencer Watson scored for the Frontenacs (17-15-1) and Ryan Kujawinski and Sam Povorozniouk chipped in with two assists apiece.

JP Anderson made 20 saves for his 17th victory of the season as Mike Morrison picked up the loss after allowing five goals on 21 shots through 40 minutes of action. Colin Furlong stopped 13-of-15 shots in relief.

Sarnia failed to score on four chances with the power play while Kingston went 1 for 5.
