Brayden Schenn scores winner as Adirondack Phantoms down St. John's IceCaps 3-2

GLEN FALLS, N.Y. - Brayden Schenn scored the winner on Wednesday as the Adirondack Phantoms defeated the St. John's IceCaps 3-2 in the American Hockey League.

Schenn's 12th goal of the season came on an unassisted effort at 5:16 of the third period.

Eric Wellwood and Brandon Manning had the other goals for Adirondack (11-14-1), while Sean Couturier added two assists.

Scott Munroe made 23 saves to pick up the win.

Spencer Machacek and Zach Redmond had the goals for St. John's (13-15-1). Kael Mouillierat chipped in with two assists.

Eddie Pasquale allowed three goals on 34 shots in taking the loss.

Adirondack finished the night 1-for-6 on the power play, while St. John's was successful on 1-of-4 chances.
