KENT, Wash. - Mike Aviani and Brenden Kichton each had a goal and an assist as the Spokane Chiefs downed the host Seattle Thunderbirds 5-2 on Saturday in Western Hockey League play.
Blake Gal, Collin Valcourt and Dylan Walchuk also scored for the Chiefs (25-13-1), who halted a three-game winless streak, and Todd Fiddler chipped in with two assists.
Jesse Forsberg and Alexander Delnov scored for the Thunderbirds (16-21-3), who now have gone 10 games since their last victory.
Eric Williams made 34 saves for the win as Brandon Glover stopped 45-of-50 shots in a losing cause.
Spokane went 1 for 9 on the power play while Seattle went 1 for 4.
