ST. LOUIS - The St. Louis Rams have set a Friday news conference to discuss coaching staff changes, likely including a new defensive co-ordinator.
Published reports have said coach Jeff Fisher has chosen Tim Walton, the Detroit Lions' secondary coach the last four seasons, as co-ordinator. The Rams went without a co-ordinator last season after Gregg Williams was suspended for his role in the Saints' bounty scandal.
Earlier in the off-season, the Rams came close to hiring Rob Ryan to the position.
Fisher's news conference is set for 1 p.m. CST.
