REGINA - The Saskatchewan Roughriders are in the market for a new special-teams co-ordinator.

The vacancy on head coach Corey Chamblin's staff was created by the resignation of Craig Dickenson on Thursday.

“My decision to resign is based on off-season commitments I have made that I intend to honour and also to a conflict of schedule which could not be worked out,” Dickenson said in a statement. “I appreciate the effort and work of the players and coaches I had the privilege of working with during my two years in Regina.''

Dickenson joined the Riders in 2011 after spending the previous season with the NFL's Oakland Raiders as a special-teams assistant. He also spent time as a coach with the Calgary Stampeders and Montreal Alouettes.
