A cyclist has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car at Quadra Street and Topaz Avenue this morning around 8:45.
Victoria police are on scene investigating and Quadra is partially closed between Hillside Avenue and Finlayson Street.
Witnesses said the cyclist was heading south on Quadra when a silver Nissan Versa made a left onto Topaz and hit the cyclist. The man was bleeding from cuts to his face.
The cyclist was taken to hospital by B.C. Ambulance paramedics with non-life-threatening injuries.
