The official draw was held late Thursday night and Cowichan FC will play host to Langley United in Provincial A Cup play, while Vic West FC will entertain Abbotsford United. Jackson Cup-champion Nanaimo United will travel to Westside FC and Bays United Liquor Plus will also head to the Mainland to face Aldergrove United in A Cup action.
In Keith Millar B Cup play, the Mid Isle Mariners are one of six seeded teams and they will await the winner of FC Serbia United and the Richmond All Blacks.
Gorge United FC will play host to Langley United Dynamo and Gorge Us-Guys will entertain the Vancouver Greencaps, while Juan de Fuca travels to Burnaby Selects West Eagles.
In Doug Day Cup U-21 play, Gorge FC will play host to Burnaby Selects West Eagles with the winner advancing to face the seeded Mid Isle Mariners. The Prospect Lake Lakers will play host to Pacific United Langley FC.
In Deryl Hughes Cup action for Masters men’s over-35, Saanich Fusion Old School is one of five seeds to earn a bye in the first round.
The Cowichan 49ers will be home to FK Nikola Tesla; Vic West FC entertains the Port Moody Rangers; Gorge FC Backfit are home to Westside FC; and UVic Alumni travels to Delta United.
Schedules for all four Provincial Cup draws are expected to be released in the coming week and will be posted online at bcsoccer.net and championship finals will be held May 14 and 28 and played at Burnaby Lake West.
In the women’s draw, Lower Island Women’s Soccer Association No 1-seed Castaways/Highlanders FC will play host to Victoria Athletics and Prospect Lake welcomes Coquitlam Metro-Ford SC.
Castaways FC (Div 2) will travel to Westside FC Rovers; Bays United entertains Saanich Fusion; Gorge FC ventures to Metropolitan FC; Lakehill Reds travel to Surrey United Selects; Campbell River Cermaq has a bye into the second round; Prospect Lake entertains Vancouver United Sabres; and Nanaimo Wheatys welcomes Dasmesh United in Leeta Sokalski B Cup play.
The womens’ championships are set for May 13.
