Drugs are believed to be involved in a home invasion in Victoria this morning that sent two people to hospital with minor injuries.
Three men broke into a home in the 200-block of Gorge Road East around 6:15 a.m. and pepper sprayed the two occupants of the home, according to Victoria police.
Officers arrested one of the three men suspected of breaking into the house. He was sent to hospital for minor injuries and charges are pending, said Const. Brett Stewart of the VicPD.
Police are still looking for two other men, but are not asking for the public’s assistance at this time. The suspects and the man and woman inside the home are known to each other in what officers are calling a targeted invasion.
Everyone involved are known to police.
