All photographs are in colour unless otherwise requested.
Photos are cropped to fit newspaper requirements; actual reproduced photos may not cover the whole 5x7 or 8x12 area and may require a custom matte or frame.

Custom or larger sizes may be available on request. Canvas prints include the canvas, 3/4 inch stretcher bar and hanging hardware. We recommend pickup of canvas prints vs shipping.

Plaque Orders
Plaques are available in multiple sizes up to full page. Due to the variety of sizing and cropping options, please contact our office directly at 250-380-5330 Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm or visit us at 2621 Douglas Street, Victoria.


Method of Payment
* Prepayment is required before any order is processed. We will contact you for payment information once order is received.

The Times Colonist will accept Interac (in person only) VISA, Mastercard, American Express, cash, cheque and money orders. Money orders must be payable to Times Colonist and issued by:
  • American Express
  • Any Canadian chartered bank
  • Canada Post

Personal, corporate or certified cheques must be payable to Times Colonist.

Important note: Cheques must be drawn on a Canadian or American bank, Canadian trust company or credit union. The name of the financial institution, branch address, and issuer's name and address must be printed on the cheque. Two valid pieces of identification bearing the person's name, signature and an expiry date must be produced. One of them must contain the person's address. Membership cards from a recreational club or group are not accepted.

No shipping costs on orders to the Times Colonist office for pick up in person or on photo reprint shipments.

Shipping costs vary according to size, weight of shipped items and geographic location of shipping destination. Additional costs may apply and will be communicated at time of order. Estimated delivery date is between 4 and 6 weeks. The Times Colonist cannot assume responsibility for damages that may occur during shipping.


Return Policy
Prints, canvas prints and plaques can be returned if there is sufficient cause to do so such as printer's defect or error. Items must be returned within a 30 day period to the Times Colonist 2621 Douglas Street Victoria BC V8T 4M2 Monday to Friday 8:30 - 5pm in person or items may be shipped. The customer must present their original bill of sale along with the returned item. Customers are credited to their original method of payment.
