Meter opponents spread misinformation

We have been living with the electrical grid since the 19th century, radio transmissions since 1906, television since 1935 and cellphones for dozens of years.

We have been living with the electrical grid since the 19th century, radio transmissions since 1906, television since 1935 and cellphones for dozens of years. Workers in these industries show no statistical anomalies in health or long life, nor do people who live in close proximity to power lines and transmitters.

Alan Shepard, astronaut, veteran of the unhealthy conditions of the Second World War and high-energy exposure, died at a very reasonable age of 74.

From such facts, it is more than reasonable to take B.C. Hydro at its word and conclude that these devices will safely perform the function that they were designed to do.

The misinformation I see in some of your readers’ letters on the subject rate as being as ridiculous as that contained in letters on the subject of “chemtrails.”
